Privacy Policy

SOMA Healing Spa (“SOMA”, “we”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it, in line with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• Contact and booking details — your name, phone number, email and appointment history, collected when you book or contact us.
• Health intake and consent forms — health conditions, treatment preferences, consents and your signature, collected online or on our in-spa iPad before your treatment.
• Your client record — we keep one record for each guest that links your forms and feedback, so our team can care for you safely over time.
• Feedback — the rating and comments you choose to send us after a visit.
• Job applications — the information you choose to send when applying for a position.

Why we collect it

To schedule and confirm appointments, to provide safe treatment suited to your health, to answer your questions, to improve our services and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

News and offers

We only send you marketing messages if you tick the separate “news and offers” box. Agreeing to treatment never signs you up for marketing, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Online booking and payments

Online booking, deposits, gift cards and payments are handled by our booking provider, Vagaro, under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number.

How we protect it

Health forms are encrypted when stored and can be viewed only by authorised SOMA staff. Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection and is backed up regularly. We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and then delete it securely.
