Booking & Your Visit
How do I book an appointment?
Book online any time with the Book Now button — choose your treatment and time, and pay a small deposit to secure your appointment. You can also call us at +1 (778) 666-6868.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes. A deposit is taken when you book online to hold your appointment, and it is applied to your final bill. Deposits are fully refundable if you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment; cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to the full service fee, and late arrivals end at the originally scheduled time so every guest receives their full treatment time. For group classes, please cancel at least 24 hours ahead or the class pass or credit is forfeited.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. Before your visit we send you a link to a short health and consent form — fill it in online, or on our iPad when you arrive — so your therapist can tailor the session safely.
What should I wear?
Come in whatever feels comfortable. For oil treatments you undress to your comfort level and stay properly draped at all times. For Thai yoga massage and yoga therapy, loose clothing is best.
Are taxes included in your prices?
Our prices are in Canadian dollars and do not include 5% GST, which is added at checkout.
Can I use my health insurance?
Yes. We have Registered Massage Therapists (RMT) on our team, so massage treatments with an RMT can receive an official insurance receipt, and we can also bill many insurers directly. Let us know when you book that you would like to use your insurance, and check your plan for coverage details.
Our Treatments
What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is India’s traditional system of natural healing, practised for thousands of years. It sees health as a balance of body, mind and spirit, and uses warm herbal oils, touch, diet and daily rituals to restore that balance.
What is a Vietnamese head spa?
A deeply relaxing ritual for the scalp, face and mind: sound healing, acupressure, scalp and neck massage, facial care and a soothing water-therapy hair wash. Choose from four journeys — Refresh (30 min), Relax (45 min), Recharge (70 min) and Reborn (90 min). Blow-drying is self-service, or add Gentle Hair Drying. See all four on our Services page.
What is Shirodhara?
A continuous stream of warm oil is poured gently over the forehead. It is traditionally used to calm the nervous system, ease stress and support deep sleep.
What is a Basti treatment?
In Basti therapies, a ring of herbal dough holds warm medicated oil over one area — the lower back (Kati), neck (Griva), heart (Hrid), navel (Nabhi) or knee (Janu) — to soothe pain and stiffness.
What happens in a sound healing session?
You rest fully clothed while singing bowls, crystal bowls and tuning forks are played around you. The vibrations help the nervous system settle into deep relaxation.

Questions by Treatment
Abhyanga 2 Hand About this treatment
What is Abhyanga?
Abhyanga is the traditional full-body oil massage of Ayurveda, India's ancient system of natural healing. Warm herbal oil chosen for your dosha is applied with long, rhythmic strokes to nourish the skin and calm the nervous system.
Will I be oily afterwards?
A little — the oil keeps working after your session. We remove the excess with warm towels. Wear comfortable clothes and, if you can, leave the rest of the oil on for a few hours.
Abhyanga 4 Hand About this treatment
How is four-hand Abhyanga different?
Two therapists work in perfect synchrony, mirroring each other's strokes. Because the mind cannot follow both pairs of hands, it lets go more quickly — many guests call it the most relaxing massage they have ever had.
Is it a good choice for my first visit?
Yes, if you would love something special. If you are new to oil massage, the two-hand Abhyanga is a gentler introduction.
Relaxation Massage About this treatment
What pressure is used?
Gentle to medium. Your therapist checks in at the start, and you can ask for lighter or firmer pressure at any time.
Relaxation or deep tissue — which should I choose?
Choose relaxation to unwind and de-stress. Choose deep tissue if you have specific knots or long-standing tightness you want worked on.
Deep Tissue Massage About this treatment
Does deep tissue massage hurt?
It can feel intense on tight areas, but it should never be painful. Tell your therapist and they will adjust. Some tenderness for a day or two afterwards is normal.
How often should I book?
For chronic tension, every two to four weeks works well at first, then less often once the muscles stay released.
Therapeutic Massage About this treatment
Who is therapeutic massage for?
Anyone with a specific problem area — a stiff neck from desk work, a sore lower back, an old sports injury or postural strain.
What happens during the session?
Your therapist starts with a short assessment, works on the areas that need it most, and may suggest simple stretches to continue at home.
Thai Massage About this treatment
What should I wear?
Loose, comfortable clothing you can stretch in, such as yoga wear. Thai massage is done fully clothed on a padded mat, without oil.
Is Thai massage the same as Thai yoga massage?
Yes — it is the same traditional practice. The gentle assisted stretches are why it is sometimes called Thai yoga massage.
Foot Reflexology About this treatment
Is reflexology just a foot massage?
It feels wonderful like one, but reflexology applies precise pressure to specific points on the feet that traditional practice maps to organs and systems throughout the body.
Can I have reflexology while pregnant?
Please tell us when you book. Some points are avoided during pregnancy, and we recommend checking with your healthcare provider first.
Shirodhara About this treatment
Where does Shirodhara come from?
Shirodhara is one of the classic therapies of Ayurveda from India. Its name joins shiro (head) and dhara (flow) — a steady stream of warm oil across the forehead.
Will the oil stay in my hair?
Yes, your hair will be oily afterwards. Many guests leave the oil in for a few hours to extend the benefits — bring a hat or scarf for the way home.
Shiro-Abhyanga About this treatment
What is Shiro-Abhyanga?
A traditional Indian head massage with warm herbal oil, focusing on the head, scalp, neck and shoulders — where most of us carry our stress.
Can I fit it into a busy day?
Yes, it is a focused one-hour session. Your hair will be oily afterwards, so plan the rest of your day accordingly.
Marma Classic Therapy About this treatment
What are marma points?
Ayurveda describes 107 marma points — junctions where muscles, vessels, joints and energy meet. Gentle, sustained pressure on these points is traditionally used to release blockages and restore the flow of prana, or life force.
Is Marma therapy a massage?
It is gentler and more precise than a massage. Much of the session is still, focused pressure, and many guests drift into a deeply meditative state.
Meru Chikitsa About this treatment
What does Meru Chikitsa mean?
Meru means spine and chikitsa means treatment. It is a specialised Ayurvedic therapy using gentle pressure and movement along the spine to rebalance the nervous system and ease back tension.
How many sessions will I need?
One session often feels noticeably calming. For long-standing back tension a short course is recommended — your practitioner will suggest a plan.
Sound Healing Session About this treatment
What happens in a sound healing session?
You rest fully clothed while singing bowls and other instruments are played around you. The layered tones and vibrations help the nervous system settle into deep rest.
Is sound healing suitable for everyone?
Most people, yes. Please tell us if you have a pacemaker, epilepsy, severe sound sensitivity or metal implants, or if you are in early pregnancy.
Yoga Therapy About this treatment
Do I need any yoga experience?
Not at all. Each session is adapted to your body, fitness and goals, whether you are a beginner or recovering from an injury.

Comfortable clothing you can move in. We provide mats and props.

A traditional Ayurvedic treatment for the lower back. A ring of herbal dough is placed over the lumbar area and filled with warm medicated oil, which is kept at a soothing temperature.

Yes, it pairs beautifully with a back and shoulder massage. Ask us when you book.
Hrid Basti About this treatment
What is Hrid Basti?
Hrid means heart. Warm medicated oil is held over the heart area in a ring of dough — a deeply nurturing treatment traditionally used for emotional calm and openness.
Does it replace medical care for heart conditions?
No. It is a relaxation and wellbeing therapy, not a medical treatment. Please follow your doctor's advice for any heart condition and tell us about it before your session.
Nabhi Basti About this treatment
Why is the navel treated?
In Ayurveda the navel (nabhi) is the body's energetic centre and the seat of digestive fire (agni). Warm oil over this area is traditionally used to support digestion and grounding.
Should I eat before my session?
Have only a light meal, at least two hours beforehand.
Janu Basti About this treatment
Who benefits from Janu Basti?
People with stiff or achy knees — from arthritis, an old injury, running, or simply years of wear and tear.
Can both knees be treated?
Yes. Let us know when you book and we will allow time for both knees.
Cupping Therapy About this treatment
Will cupping leave marks?
Often, yes — round, painless marks that fade within a few days to a week. They show where circulation has been drawn into the tissue.
Can I add cupping to a massage?
Yes. Cupping is designed as an enhancement to any massage.
Hot Stones Therapy About this treatment
Are the stones very hot?
